Poker Throne

Sweden's own betting company asked us to promote their annual Online Poker tournament which brings together some of the biggest names in poker for some big prizes, with 5 big tournaments in the Autumn.
For the promotion of this event, we built on their original branding of a historic/medieval theme with several activations highlighted below.
The Throne
We created our very own medieval throne for the modern gamer as a prize for the ultimate finalist in the tournament. This was a customised high-end gamer chair which was transformed with red printed fabric and gold trim into a medley of old and new.
Twitch Plays
To garner the attention of the online gaming world to this annual online event, we wanted to give everyone a chance to play a game against their online hero. We partnered with 3 of the most popular online twitch gamers in Sweden and created our own customized interactive playing environment for twitch. Over 3 online events, we let the public play against an online gamer at poker, with the collective playing suggestions of the public, deciding the next move against the gamer.
Films
We also created a series of 4 films where a Swedish online poker celebrity would go and interview previous tournament winners on their tactics, feelings and tips.
